Ashley moved to Central Florida in 2015 after working in Washington DC for 5 years. A Boston native, she spent her formative years in the Nashville area and holds a Bachelor’s in English Literature and a Master’s in Physics. She’s spent over a decade as a software quality consultant, helping to enhance user experiences, build intuitive workflows, and promote accessibility for all. She speaks mediocre Spanish and is learning Polish from her husband of 14 years, a native Pole.
She loves hobbies that require a mix of logic and creativity, and is an incurable “Do It-Yourselfer.” She bought and moved in to a 1970’s fixer-upper, and she and her husband have handled most of the remodeling themselves (with more than a little help from Google.) While Demo Day is definitely her favorite day, she’s happy to talk about the perks and drawbacks of taking on DIY projects, and how to gauge your own comfort and ability levels when buying a fixer-upper. She lives in Kissimmee with her husband, 2 sons, an opinionated husky and a lazy beagle.
Ashley specializes in the Kissimmee/Poinciana area, and is very familiar with St. Cloud, Hunter’s Creek, Davenport, and Celebration as well.
