When my family moved to Hickory NC, we moved into a beautiful Victorian home. I fell in love with the town, the people, but especially my home shared with all five of my siblings and both parents. It truly felt like such a blessing being able to experience that much joy. This is when my interest in real estate became apparent to me. My desire to help others find their dream home that fits their family and lifestyle; to share the feeling I was blessed to experience living in the Victorian home.
My father, Steve Clarke, got his real estate license in North Carolina which expanded my interest in real estate. When our family left NC after 8 years, we moved to The Villages surrounding area. We needed a home for our family. This is when my father met Dick Betts and he helped our family find a home. My father, previously being a Realtor in North Carolina, decided to join the Betts Team and get his Florida license.
In my senior year of high school, I made the decision that I wanted to become a Realtor. The day of my graduation party, I approached Dick Betts, told him I wanted to be a part of his team, and immediately after we signed up for real estate school to begin my big journey ahead.
Since getting my Florida Real Estate license, I have been attending additional training, manning open houses, accompanying Dick to listing appointments, and other real estate functions.
