When you can have a person that has spent the past 21 years teaching agents in 47 states how to be a REALTOR®, why not trust his team to help sell your home? We offer so much more than most other agents, we call it the “Me Too” effect! Every real estate professional has a check list of what they offer when listing a property where The Betts Team has an equal number of “Me Too” services but we go beyond what other agents offer, let’s compare what we offer to others wanting to help you sell your home:

Here is where The Betts Team starts separating ourselves from other agents:
Social media, many agents say they will display your home on social media to their maybe 1,000 or more connections. The Betts Team uses social media with over 50,000 connections and utilizes over 60 Facebook groups giving your listing exposure to over 500,000 possible viewers. We post to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest.
Personal agent website, some agents do have personal website that do get a few hits, The Betts Team’s website gets over 900 visits a month from over 40 states and 6 countries. This does not include the Touchstone Real Estate website where your listing will also be displayed.
Very few agents use the power of “Blogging”, The Betts Team does as we feature your home on two of the largest blog sites, WordPress and Active Rain which is the largest real estate blog site.
Virtual tours, many agents will take two-dimensional pictures creating a slideshow and call it a virtual tour, not The Betts Team! We use the latest technology which includes three-dimensional imaging and enhancing to display your home on the internet giving potential buyers the greatest view of your home.

After clicking on the above image a new window will open on your computer or mobile device. Once open you can take the 3D tour by clicking ot tapping your way through the home!
Virtual Staging
If you watch any of the home and garden TV shows you know about the importance of staging and curb appeal, well we are experts and have resources many other "Me Too" agents either don't use or don't know about. A well decorated and designed interior of a home can help those who have difficulty envisioning what a home could look like when the home is completely empty. The Betts Team can use Virtual Staging to display the home giving it maxium appeal. Here are a few examples of homes we recently used Virtual Staging.

With Image Enhancement
The Betts Team understands that some people might prefer a two-dimensional video compared to the three-dimensional we offer. We will select any number of pictures and build a two dimensional video which we will share on social media and other internet sites to give your property maximum exposure, we can even share with the sellers, friends and family.
The Betts Team hires Professional Drone Pilots to give your home the maximum amount of exposure. Many times those looking to buy a home are not from the area or familiar with what is around the home. Here is an example of a home in The Villages showing how close the community pool and Lake Sumter Landing home of Market Square the center of shopping, dining and entertainment to the home on the market.
QR Codes
In the past remember the flyer tubes or boxes agents put in front of homes for sale with flyers? The flyers would get wet, many times empty and even bugs. Well there is a better way, it’s called QR Codes which stands for “Quick Response”. You notice QR Codes around different places for all kinds of reasons and today with smartphone technology and almost everybody has a smartphone the built-in camera reads QR Codes. The Betts Team decided to incorporate this technology in to the home buying and selling experience.
How a QR Code works is the camera on your smartphones reads the square code and on the screen appears “Website QR Code Open DickBetts.com”. Tap on the display and you go directly to The Betts Team “Featured Listing” on your smartphone, scroll down until you see the home where you are located. Click on the picture of the home and you now have all the details about the home, bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, year built, lot size and so much more. You can read our description of the home and view between 45 to 60 pictures taken by a professional photographer also by drone and in some cases virtually staged.
Your phone camera has a zoom feature so often you can remain in your car at the street and open the QR Code, if not pull into the driveway and try without getting out of your car. The next time you see a Betts Team Listing give it a try! Thinking about listing your home? Let The Betts Team put one of these QR Codes on your home!

Top Three Hidden Gems in Your Home!
What are the three most important things you as the homeowner want every prospective buyer to know when they come into your home to consider whether to buy or not? A listing agent should always ask, but The Betts Team has another reason to ask. Most REALTORS® when they compose the paragraph or two describing your home for use on the MLS and other channels online try to include what the homeowner feels is important to know. Some items speak for themselves such as upgraded granite, new cabinets, new flooring which when you first walk in you notice quickly, but what about those hidden gems you want everybody to know about?
When The Betts Team list your home for sale we know the items you have identified as being those unseen, maybe tucked away features that are not obvious. When we show your home, or host Open Houses we are quick to point the features out to prospective buyers. In today’s real estate market many different REALTORS® could be showing your home and maybe they have studied the written description or maybe not! The Betts Team has a solution!
The Betts Team uses the “Three Easel System”, let me explain. We discuss with the homeowners the three things they wish they could tell every buyer that walks in the door that most people would not notice. A great example is one of our listings that has an 18 KW Home Automatic Backup Natural Gas Generator which is hidden in the landscaping and would be missed. This is a rather expensive item when shopping for a home that a buyer should know is included, easel #1! Another listing homeowner is offering a $1,000 master bedroom floor allowance, again it is in the MLS information but unless you read you would miss, easel #2! Finally, do you think a buyer would see 4 solar fans in the attic and a radiant barrier attic insulation to lower monthly utility bills 5% to 10%? Could be a saving of $1,000’s, Easel #3! Let The Betts Team meet with you discuss our “Three Easel System” to help sell your home!
Flyers
Simply thing of flyers, why the importance of flyers? Many times, as REALTORS® we spend a day or maybe more showing a buyer homes, it’s very hard for the buyer and the agents to keep things straight so most buyers will pick up the flyer left at the home by the listing agent. I normally suggest the buyer take notes on the listing to help them review their choices later. Some agents use a 2-page black and white print out of the MLS done in their office, not The Betts Team! We build professional looking presentations printed at a commercial printer in color from 7 to 10 pages for the prospects to take with them. We want your home to make an impression, yes it cost us more but we feel it’s well worth it to help you sell your home. Let us bring examples of our flyer to show you what they look like and feel the difference.
Print Advertising
Serving The Villages, we recognize the importance of print advertising in The Daily Sun. Many residents subscribe to the paper or pick one up to check the real estate section. We know both locals and visitors looking for homes depend on The Daily Sun for Open Houses and other real estate information in The Villages. The Betts Team has contracted a weekly ad in The Daily Sun and some weeks do more than one ad to promote listings and Open Houses.
Our goal is to let homebuyers from around the country see your home before they ever step foot in The Villages. We want your home to make an impression on the buyers so as they start looking for a home online, which almost all of them do, your home is on the short list. I firmly believe with the amount of technology we use daily, the online presence we have and the commitment to selling your home The Betts Team is your best Bet!
The Betts Team will only use the electronic lockbox available from our local association The REALTOR® Association of Lake and Sumter Counties. Only authorized REALTORS® which has updated their status daily can open a lockbox, and every opening is documented both in the lockbox and to the listing agent.
Thinking of listing your home, please consider contacting The Betts Team, we want to show you how we are not a “Me Too” agent and give you the best chance for achieving your home selling goals!
