Areas of The Villages
IThis place is big and if you have never visited here be prepared. From the northern most point of The Villages along State Route 42 to the current most southern point of Middleton it is 24 miles and a 45 minute drive. The population is around 157,000 people and growing daily, how do you find that perfect place to call home? Simple spend a month or two, rent a place which we can help you with, and visit all The Villages has to offer.
For us to keep it straight we have divided The Villages into five areas. See the map below:
Area 1 is what locally is called the Historic Area. This is where The Villages started, east of 441 many of the original manufactured homes have been removed and new homes been built. Great area for retail, dining, medical and entertainment, close to so much.
Area 2 this area is north of County Road 466 to south of State Road 42 including the Spanish Springs area and Southern Trace. Mature landscaping, larger lots, most bonds have been paid. East and west sides of Area 2 have plenty of shopping and dining options.
Area 3 (Between the 6's) The Lake Sumter Landing area. County Road 466 to the north and County Road 466 to the south. This is a very popular area with many amenities, dining, country clubs and entertainment. Retail is located on the east and west side of 466a.
Area 4 The Brownwood Paddock Square Area. South of County Road 466a to State Road 44, plenty of retail, dining and entertainment available with much more options coming soon.
Area 5 South of State Road 44 to the Turnpike, this is home to Sawgrass Grove.
Area 6 South of the Turnpike this includes Eastport, Middleton, the Fenney area, Marsh Bend and Edna's on the Green.
